Eleventh Sitting of the Committee on Science and Technological Development
At the sitting held on 21 May, the Committee on Science and Technological Development considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Republic of Serbia and the European Community associating the Republic of Serbia to the European Community Seventh Framework Programme for Research, Technological Development and Demonstration Activities (2007-2013), the Bill on Official Statistics and the Bill on 2011 Census on Population, Households and Dwellings, in principle and detail.

The Committee decided to propose that the National Assembly accept the Bill on Official Statistics in principle, with one reserved opinion. Out of the 24 amendments total submitted to the Bill, the Committee accepted only two.
The Committee decided to propose that the National Assembly accept the Bill on 2011 Census on Population, Households and Dwellings, in principle, with one reserved opinion. The Committee rejected the 10 amendments submitted to the Bill.
The sitting was chaired by Srboljub Zivanovic, Committee Chairman.
