Eighty-Sixth Sitting of the Finance Committee
At the sitting held on 11 October, the Finance Committee considered and accepted by a majority of votes, in principle, the Bill amending and modifying the Republic of Serbia 2011 Budget Law, with its accompanying proposals of decisions granting consent to the decisions amending and modifying the financial plans for 2011 of: 1) the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance, 2) the Republic Institute for Health Insurance, 3) the National Employment Service.
Serbian Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Mirko Cvetkovic explained the reasons for the budget rebalance, as well as the bills the Committee reviewed and accepted by a majority of votes, in principle, at the sitting, viz.: the Bill amending and modifying the Public Debt Law, Bill amending and modifying the Property Tax Law and the Bill amending the Law on Compulsory Traffic Insurance.

The Committee members considered and by a majority of votes accepted the Bill on the Confirmation of the Framework Loan Agreement between the Council of Europe Development Bank and the Republic of Serbia F/P 1720, Bill on the Confirmation of the Loan Agreement (Catastrophe Risk Insurance Project for South-Eastern Europe and the Caucasus) between the Republic of Serbia and the International Bank of Reconstruction and Development, Bill on the Confirmation of the Guarantee Contract (EPS Kolubara project) between the Republic of Serbia and the International Bank of Reconstruction and Development, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on mutual assistance in customs matters.
At the sitting the Committee accepted, by a majority of votes, the Proposed amendments and modifications to the State Audit Institution 2011 Financial Plan and adopted a Decision granting consent to the Proposed Financial Plan. The Committee also accepted, by a majority of votes, the Proposed amendments and modifications to the Fiscal Council 2011 Financial Plan and adopted a Decision granting consent to the Proposed Financial Plan.
