Eighth Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 1 July, the Foreign Affairs Committee members adopted several initiatives for visits in the immediate future, noted the regular activities of the National Assembly’s standing delegations and adopted reports on contacts realised in the previous period.


The Committee members went on to consider and accept the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the United Arab Emirates on Visa Abolition for Diplomatic and Official/Special Passport Holders, submitted by the Government.

At the sitting, the Committee members also interviewed the newly-appointed ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Tunisia Nikola Lukic, before deployment for diplomatic duty.

The Committee also noted the amendments to the parliamentary friendship groups with Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, Greece, Egypt, Cuba, Macedonia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Tunisia, Spain, Montenegro, Azerbaijan, Algeria, Austria, Arab States of the Gulf, Indonesia, Italy, Luxembourg, Germany, Russia, USA and Turkey.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Aleksandra Djurovic.
