Eighth Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee
At the sitting held on 16 March 2021, the members of the Culture and Information Committee considered the Proposal of the Decision on the Election of Deputy Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection – for Personal Data Protection.
Milan Marinkovic, Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, nominated Sanja Unkovic, Bachelor of Laws from Belgrade, for Deputy Commissioner.
He said that in her ten years with the Commissioner’s Support Service working on personal data protection tasks, Sanja Unkovic with has given great contributions to the results achieved by the institution in the area, adding that her work and approach to tasks relating to personal data protection are a guarantee for her success in the position she is nominated for.
The Committee proceeded to interview Sanja Unkovic and voted to accept the Decision Proposal and nominate her for Deputy Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection – for Personal Data Protection to the National Assembly.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Sandra Bozic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Aleksandar Cotric, Ivan Tasovac, Aleksandar Jovanovic, Zeljko Tomic, Vuk Mircetic, Jelica Sretenovic, Ljubomir Maric, Milica Obradovic, Miloc Terzic, Prof. Dr Marko Atlagic, Rozalia Okresz, Natasa Mihailovic-Vacic, MA Jadranka Jovanovic, Lav-Grigorije Pajkic and Snezana Paunovic.
