Eighth Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 24 November 2025, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered, in principle, a number of bills proposed for the agenda of the Third Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2025.

The Committee members accepted the proposal of Committee Chairman Dr Ugljesa Mrdic to complete a joint debate in principle on items 1, 3 and 4 on the agenda.

The Committee members considered, in principle, the Bill on Birth Register, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Salaries of Civil Servants and Employees, and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Civil Servants, presented by Zoran Kasalovic, State Secretary at the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government.

Following a debate the Committee accepted the Bills, in principle, by majority vote.

The Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Register of Administrative Procedures was presented by Sanja Volic of the Ministry pf Finance, and after a debate the Committee accepted it by majority vote.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Ugljesa Mrdic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Jasmina Palurovic, Natasa Milic Milas, Milija Miletic, Jovan Palalic, Dragan Nikolic, Lidija Nacic, Risto Kostov, Verica Milanovic, Boris Bajic, Ana Krstic, Biljana Ilic Stosic and Aleksandar Ivanovic.
