Eighth Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 26 January 2021, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg on Exchange and Mutual Protection of Classified Information, submitted by the Government, Proposal of the Decision on the election of judges to judicial office for the first time, submitted by the High Judicial Council and the Proposal of the Decision on the election of judges to judicial office for the first time, submitted by the High Judicial Council.

The Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg on Exchange and Mutual Protection of Classified Information was presented by representative of the Ministry of Justice Zlatko Petrovic and the Committee unanimously proposed that the National Assembly accept it.

The two decision proposals on the election of judges to judicial office for the first time submitted by the High Judicial Council were presented by representative of the High Judicial Council Ivan Jovicic and the Committee unanimously proposed that the National Assembly accept them.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Vladimir Djukanovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Toma Fila, Velibor Milojicic, Djordje Komlenski, Nenad Baros, Sanja Brankovic Jefic, Nebojsa Pavlovic, Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic, Jelena Zaric Kovacevic and Milorad Haji Stosic.
