At the request of 105 deputies, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic, convened the Eighth Extraordinary Sitting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia for 3 p.m. on Friday 15 July.

According to the request for holding the session, the agenda is to comprise the Bill Amending and Modifying the Budget System Act, proposed by the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2005, with its proposals of decisions authorising decisions on amendments to 2005 financial plans of the Republic Funds for pension and disability Insurance of employees, farmers and private entrepreneurs, of the Republic Health Insurance Agency and the National Employment Service, proposed by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

At the sitting, the National Assembly is also to consider the termination of office, dismissal and election of a number of judicial officials, as well as three different proposals of Decisions Amending the Decision on the Election of Members of Committees of the National Assembly, proposed by deputies Tomislav Nikolic, Milos Aligrudic, and Miloljub Albijanic.
