Eighth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly in 2011 Convened
At the request made by 122 MPs, the Speaker of the National Assembly, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic, convened the Eighth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2011, for Wednesday, 20 July 2011, starting at 5.30 p.m.
The request to hold the session set the following agenda: the Energy Bill, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Air Transport, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Health Care and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Health Insurance.
The Assembly will also consider the Bill amending the Law on the Ratification of the Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment, Bill on the Confirmation of the Cooperation Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Government of the Republic of Cyprus in the Field of Defense, Bill on the Confirmation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Serbia represented by the Ministry of Defense and Government of the State of Kuwait represented by the Ministry of Defense on mutual cooperation in the field of defense, as well as the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania on readmission of persons residing illegally with the Protocol between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania on the implementation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania on readmission of persons residing illegally.
All the Bills were submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
The session will be held at the House of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 13 Nikola Pasic Square.
