Eighteenth Sitting of the Education Committee

At the sitting held on 9 March, the Education Committee discussed the particulars of the Bill on Pre-School Upbringing and Education and the Bill on Pupil and Student Standard.



At the sitting held on 9 March, the Education Committee discussed the particulars of the Bill on Pre-School Upbringing and Education and the Bill on Pupil and Student Standard.

The sitting was chaired by Dr Zoran Sami, Committee Chairman.

On the behalf of the submitters - the Ministry of Education, Minister of Education Zarko Obradovic said that out of the 49 amendments submitted to the Bill on Pre-School Upbringing and Education the Government accepted nine. At the sitting, the Committee also formulated four amendments of its own aimed at improving the text of the Bill.

Out of the 82 amendments submitted to the Bill on Pupil and Student Standard the Government accepted eight, Obradovic said. At the sitting, the Committee members accepted three amendments with corrections and two more amendments which they harmonised with the representatives of the submitters.
