Eighteenth Sitting of the Committee on Justice and Administration

At the sitting held on 11 March, the Committee on Justice and Administration considered the amendments to the Bill on International Legal Aid in Criminal Matters.



At the sitting held on 11 March, the Committee on Justice and Administration considered the amendments to the Bill on International Legal Aid in Criminal Matters. The Committee endorsed the amendments submitted by deputies Vladan Batic to article 39 and Milica Radovic to article 91 of the Bill, which were also accepted by the Government.

The Committee also discussed the amendments to the Bill on Registry Books. The Committee accepted the amendments submitted by deputies Laslo Varga, Balint Pasztor, Elvira Kovac and Arpad Fremond to article 17 of the Bill, as well as the amendments by Radisa Ilic to article 19, Nikola Zutic to article 23 and Vlatko Ratkovic which added a new article after article 94 – article 95. These amendments were accepted by the Government.

The Committee members agreed to hold the next sitting at the Zabela Correction Facility in Pozarevac, on 17 March, so that the deputies could be fully informed on the release on probation of the former deputy head of the Security Information Agency, Milorad Bracanovic.

The sitting was chaired by Bosko Ristic, Committee Chairman.
