Democratic Party MPs Talk to French Parliamentarians
The members of the French National Assembly Pierre-Yves le Borgn' and Jean-Claude Mignon met, at the National Assembly House, with the Head and Deputy Head of the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group Goran Ciric and Balsa Bozovic.
Relations between Belgrade and Pristina were one of the topics of the meeting. On that count Ciric restated that the Democratic Party is ready to endorse all the good decisions made by the ruling majority and that the party president Dragan Sutanovac had endorsed the continued implementation of the Brussels Agreement, and also underlined the importance of openness of the process and the Parliament’s inclusion in it.
Speaking of media freedom in Serbia Ciric voiced his misgivings and said they were ready to work to improve the situation.
The Democratic Party MPs asked about the presidential and parliamentary elections in France, also highlighting the strong historical and friendly connections between Serbia and France and a wish to enhance cooperation in the spheres of culture and education.
