On 14 October 2014, the members of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee visited Serbian Army Base Jug (South) near Bujanovac.

The Committee members were presented the duties and tasks of the Fourth Land Force Brigade and activities on turning Army Base Jug into a regional training centre for peace operation units and a Partnership for Peace centre. The committee members stressed that gaining first-hand knowledge of the living conditions and work in the Serbian army units, in addition to the establishment of an optimal legal framework, is extremely important.
