Defence and Internal Affairs Committee Chairman and Deputy Chairman Meet with Ombudsman

The Chairman of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee MA Milovan Drecun and Committee Deputy Chairman Darko Jovanovic met today at the National Assembly with Ombudsman Zoran Pasalic to discuss the possibilities for advancing and intensifying cooperation.

The officials expressed joint readiness to intensify communication between the Committee and the institution of the Ombudsman in order to advance the efficient realisation of the citizens’ rights before public authorities.

MA Milovan Drecun stressed that there is room to concretise cooperation within the Defence and Internal Affairs’ authority in the execution of its legislative and control role.
