Dacic and Kuchta: Continuing to Improve Cooperation between Serbia and the Czech Republic

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic met today with the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Republic of Serbia Tomas Kuchta.

Ambassador Kuchta congratulated the National Assembly Speaker on taking office hoping that he would continue to actively contribute to the improvement of cooperation between the Czech Republic and Serbia in his new position, as he did during his tenure as Foreign Minister.

National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic said that bilateral relations between the Czech Republic and Serbia are traditionally good and friendly and that he would try to improve the segment of parliamentary cooperation in his new position. He informed his guest that a Parliamentary Friendship Group with the Czech Republic has been formed in the National Assembly, which opens up new opportunities to intensify this type of cooperation.

After the stabilisation of health conditions, the officials expressed readiness for the exchange of visits at the level of parliament speakers, as well as between parliamentary friendship groups and representatives of parliamentary committees. They also discussed the possibilities of parliamentary cooperation in regional and multilateral forums.
