Constitutional and Legislative Issues Committee Delegation at International Regulatory Reform Conference in Berlin

A delegation of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues will take part in the International Regulatory Reform Conference, to be held in Berlin, Germany, on 31 January and 1 February 2013.


The participants of the conference, decision-makers from the political and business arena, as well as experts from administration, academia and civil society, will exchange opinions and experiences on current trends, innovative methods and best practices for improving legislation. Particular emphasis will be placed on the growing significance of civic participation and public consultations for the quality of legislation, and the work being done by governments and parliaments to ensure better regulation.
The Conference is being organised and hosted by the Federal Government of Germany in collaboration with the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), Federal Republic of Germany’s National Regulatory Control Council, Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce, Bertelsmann Foundation and members of the German Bundestag.
The delegation of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues will comprise Committee Deputy Chairman Srdjan Mikovic and Committee member Nedjo Jovanovic.
