Commemorative Gathering for Zoran Sami
The National Assembly hosted the commemorative gathering on the death of Zoran Sami, former Speaker of the Assembly of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro, attended by his family members, friends and colleagues. Sanda Raskovic Ivic and Aleksandar Pravdic spoke at the commemoration which was also attended by National Assembly Speaker Maja Gojkovic.
Zoran Sami was the Minister of Transport of FR Yugoslavia, member of the Assembly of Serbia and Montenegro, and the Speaker of the Assembly of the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro 2004-2006. In the period between 2007 and 2012 he was twice elected member of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
He was one of the founders of the Democratic Party of Serbia.
