Commemoration for MP Djuro Peric

A commemoration was held today in the National Assembly House, for MP Djuro Peric of the PUPS -"Three P’s" Parliamentary Group.

Djuro Peric, Vice-President of the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia (PUPS) and Head of the PUPS -"Three P’s" Parliamentary Group, passed away on 26 October 2021, at the age of 91.

The last honours were given by National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Stefan Krkobabic, Head of the “Aleksandar Vucic – For Our Children” Parliamentary Group Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, Head of the Socialist Party of Serbia Parliamentary Group Djordje Milicevic, Head of the Justice and Reconciliation Party SPP - United Peasant Party USS Parliamentary Group Samir Tandir, Minister of Rural Welfare and President of the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia Milan Krkobabic and MP Haji Milorad Stosic.

The speakers stressed that Djuro Peric was a role model, member of SKOJ, teacher, a man of many virtues, moderation, modesty and intelligence.

The commemoration was attended by family members, MPs, friends and party sympathisers.
