Children from Kosovo-Metohija Visit National Assembly

More than 80 children from Kosovo-Metohija and their peers from Novi Sad hosting them as part of project “With all heart for a child’s smile”, visited the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.

On the occasion, the children were welcomed by the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic, who stressed that the National Assembly House is their home, as is the whole Republic of Serbia. “Today you are here with your friends from Novi Sad, as well as those who live in Belgrade, Nis, Kraguievac and everywhere in our and your Serbia. A greet thank you to you and your families for being strong, brave and protecting Kosovo-Metohija for all of us”, said Speaker Orlic.

He wished that the children carry the best memories from the capital and all the other cities and places covered by the programme of the visit, as well as new friendships and not to forget to be diligent, hard-working and successful students who will tomorrow take care of their Serbia and make it an even better place to live. “Thank you for adorning our National Assembly with your smiles”, concluded Dr Orlic, who accepted the plaque on behalf of the organisers of the visit for the help in the realisation of the jubilee 10th project “With all heart for a child’s smile”.
