Brnabic Meets with Newly-Appointed UAE Ambassador

Today, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ana Brnabic received the newly-appointed Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Serbia Ahmed Hatem Al Menhali in official visit.

Speaker Brnabic welcomed the Ambassador, extending her wishes for a successful mandate in Serbia and emphasising the importance of further strengthening the friendly relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Menhali thanked Speaker Brnabic for the warm welcome and also congratulated her on her new post as Parliament Speaker.

In the course of the conversation, Ambassador Menhali emphasised the United Arab Emirates’ readiness to continue its cooperation with Serbia at all levels.

The officials also discussed the possibilities for improving economic cooperation, as well as joint projects in the field of education and science.

Speaker Brnabic and Ambassador Menhali agreed that there is great potential for further development of cooperation between Serbia and the United Arab Emirates and expressed mutual readiness to strengthen bilateral relations in the coming period.
