Bilateral Meetings Part of Adriatic Ionian Initiative Conference

On the margins of the Conference of the Speakers of the Parliaments of the Adriatic Ionian Initiative, held at the NARS House and hosted by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic Dejanovic, acting President of the Republic of Serbia, met with the parliament speakers of Montenegro Ranko Krivokapic, Slovenia Gregor Virant and the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina Milorad Zivkovic.


In all the meetings, the officials were pleased to note that the activities of the Adriatic Ionian Initiative are expanding, progressing and becoming richer in content in the interest of all the countries in the region. They emphasised the need to cooperate as closely as possible to that end.

At the same time they noted that parliamentary cooperation between the countries in the region should also be improved which might significantly raise the level of bilateral relations, especially in the sphere of economy.
