The Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians Parliamentary Group met with Hungarian Parliament Speaker László Kövér.
Introducing the members of the Parliamentary Group, PG Head Dr Balint Pasztor stressed that Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians Parliamentary Group is the third largest parliamentary group in the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
The officials went on to talk about the relations between Hungary and Serbia, which were, they stressed, at a historical maximum.
The Hungarian Parliament Speaker spoke about the political situation in Hungary, saying that the country is expected to have regular parliamentary elections in April 2022.
There was talk about the upcoming elections in Serbia, both in Belgrade and the presidential, as well as early parliamentary elections, and that the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians is actually preparing for elections at five levels in 2022, and the conclusion was that the coming year should be the point of focus.
The rest of the conversation centred on the role of young people in political life and how best to communicate with them, as well as on the coalition agreement between the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians and the Serbian Progressive Party, based not on functions but on specific programme elements.
