In the course of the meeting, Laszlo Varga and the Chairman of the European People's Party Parliamentary Group discussed Serbia’s European integration, judiciary reform, regulations relating to land registry into registry books and cadastre, as well as the structure of agriculture in Serbia. Mentioning the possibility of re-introducing visas for Serbian citizens, Varga opined that it would have a negative impact on the citizens’ support for European integration. He added that it is Serbia’s goal to improve its status on the road to full European Union membership.

Joseph Daul opined that Serbia should utilize the other countries’ experience in its EU accession process and that Europe will react positively to any progress Serbia makes.
