9th session of the Environmental Protection Committee
At the Committee’s session held on 1 December 2004, members of the Environmental Protection Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia endorsed, in principle, the Environmental Impact Strategic Assessment Bill, Environmental Impact Assessment Bill, the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Bill, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
At the Committee’s session held on 1 December 2004, members of the Environmental Protection Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia endorsed, in principle, the Environmental Impact Strategic Assessment Bill, Environmental Impact Assessment Bill, the Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control Bill, submitted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee discussed 73 amendments submitted to the Environmental Protection Bill, endorsed 14 amendments, and proposed one, which was accepted by the Ministry of Science and Environmental Protection. In view of the fact that the session was attended by the Minister of Science and Environmental Protection, Aleksandar Popovic, the endorsed amendments were incorporated as an integral part of the text of the Environmental Protection Bill.
The Committee did not endorse one amendment submitted to the Environmental Protection Bill.
