99th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 10 December, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending considered the bills on the budget final financial statements for 2002 to 2018.

The Committee members accepted the proposal of the Committee Chairperson to complete a joint debate in principle on all the items on the agenda.

The sitting was attended by Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali and associates, President of the Council of the State Audit Institution Dusko Pejovic and associates, as well as representatives of the Parliamentary Budget Office. The Committee members had received an opinion of the Fiscal Council and Parliamentary Budget Office on all the bills.

The bills were presented by Minister of Finance Sinisa Mali as representative of the submitter, while the reports on the bills were submitted by SAI Council President Dusko Pejovic.

Following a debate the Committee members accepted all 17 of the bills in principle.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Dr Aleksandra Tomic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Zoran Bojanic, Srbislav Filipovic, Tanja Tomasevic Damnjanovic, Sonja Vlahovic, Gorica Gajic, Zoltan Pek, Goran Kovacevic, Dusko Tarbuk, Vojislav Vujic and Snezana B. Petrovic.
