98th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 11 March 2019, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered amendments submitted to the Bill on Central Register of Citizens, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Plant Nutrition Products and Soil Enhancers, Bill amending and modifying the Food Safety Law, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Plant Protection Products, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Plant Health, Bill on Hospitality Industry and the Bill on Tourism, submitted by the Government.


The Committee found all 13 of the amendments submitted to the Bill on Central Register of Citizens to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee also found the 12 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Plant Nutrition Products and Soil Enhancers to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

All of the 22 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Food Safety Law were found to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The MPs had submitted nine amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Plant Protection Products, which the Committee members found to comply with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee found all eight of the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Plant Health to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee also found the 34 amendments submitted to the Bill on Hospitality Industry to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The MPs had submitted 57 amendments to the Bill on Tourism, which the Committee found to comply with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Djordje Komlenski and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Nedjo Jovanovic, Vesna Nikolic Vukajlovic, Krsto Janjusevic, Jelena Zaric Kovacevic, Aleksandra Majkic, Gordana Comic, Vesna Markovic, Srbislav Filipovic, Bajro Gegic, Dr Balint Pasztor, Vojislav Vujic and Milena Corilic.
