92nd Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

At the sitting held on 7 November, the members of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending interviewed the candidates for the election of one member of the Council of the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia.

The Committee members interviewed Dr Rajko Peric, nominated by the Socialist Party of Serbia Parliamentary Group, and MA Nikola Martinovic, nominated by the Serbian Progressive Party Parliamentary Group.

Following the interviews, the Committee decided to propose candidate MA Nikola Martinovic for member of the Council of the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia, after which it formulated the Proposal of the Decision for the election of member of the Council of the Governor of the National Bank of Serbia and forwarded it to the National Assembly for consideration and ruling under urgent procedure, in line with Article 167 of the Rules of Procedure.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Dr Aleksandra Tomic and was attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Zoran Bojanic, Olivera Pesic, Dr Milorad Mijatovic, Srbislav Filipovic, Goran Kovacevic, Tanja Tomasevic Damnjanovic, Sonja Vlahovic, Momo Colakovic, Vojislav Vujic, Zoltan Pek, Milorad Mircic and Djordje Milicevic.
