90th Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 16 January, the members of the Foreign Affairs Committee considered and by majority vote proposed that the National Assembly accept the Bill on the Confirmation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the United Arab Emirates on Employment of Dependants of Members of Diplomatic Missions and Consular Posts, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Slovak Republic on Gainful Occupation of Family Members of Staff Employed by their Diplomatic Missions and Consular Posts and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of Montenegro on Gainful Occupation of Certain Family Members of Members of Diplomatic Missions and Consular Posts.

The Bills were presented by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Committee went on to unanimously adopt a number of initiatives for visits and noted the regular activities of the National Assembly’s standing delegations.

The Committee members also accepted a number of reports on visits realized and noted the parliamentary contacts realized at the 141st IPU Assembly.

MP Jelena Mijatovic was elected Head of the PFG with Portugal and the Committee noted the changes in the composition of the PFG with Portugal.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Prof. Dr Zarko Obradovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Zika Gojkovic, Dusica Stojkovic, Nemanja Radojevic, Jovan Palalic, Milisav Petronijevic, Nikola Savic, Djordje Kosanic, Dragan Sormaz, Prof. Dr Ljubisa Stojmirovic, Maja Macuzic Puzic, Natasa Mihailovic Vacic, Dubravka Filipovski and Ljiljana Malusic.
