At the Committee’s eighth session, the members voiced objections to the Energy Bill, relating to preventing monopolies, organising energy-related institutions and companies, as well as ownership issues. The objections will be forwarded to the Minister of Mining and Energy, in order for him to be able to provide the deputies with a more detailed explanation at the next session.
The Committee discussed the request for the consolidation of Valjevo-based Krusik Joint-Stock Holding Company, as well as of other armament manufacturers, and was informed of the situation in this area. Representatives of companies from the industry explained problems relating to low employment, high indebtedness, impossibility of obtaining favourable loans, as well as other issues facing armament manufacturers. The Committee resolved to endorse Krusik’s request and to forward it to the Ministry of Economy and the Armaments Industry Commission.
The Committee endorsed requests of the Ub Municipal Assembly and the Majdanpek-based Komunalac public utility company, and forwarded them to the relevant ministry.
