83rd Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 11 February, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues deliberated on the amendments submitted to the bills on the agenda for the Sixth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2015.


The Committee members found all 19 of the amendments the MPs had submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Maritime Navigation, compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The MPs had submitted 34 amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Navigation and Ports on Inland Waterways. The Committee found all the amendments compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia, except for the two amendments adding article 63a after article 63, and 93a after article 93, which were rejected as incomplete.

The Committee also found the one amendment submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Nationality and Registration of Vessels compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia

The Committee members then proceeded to formulate the response of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues relating to the Action Plan for the implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy in the Republic of Serbia for the period 2013-2018.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.
