80th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 24 February, the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government reviewed the bills on the agenda of the 26th Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th Legislature, within its purview.


The Committee members reviewed and accepted the Bill on Determining the Origin of Property and Special Tax, Bill amending the Civil Procedure Code, Bill amending and modifying the Law of Contract and Torts and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Memorandum of Understanding Concerning Cooperation in Fighting Corruption Through the South Eastern European Anti-Corruption Initiative with Protocol amending and modifying the Memorandum of Understanding Concerning Cooperation in Fighting Corruption Through the South Eastern European Anti-Corruption Initiative, submitted by the Government.

The Committee members also formulated six amendments to the Bill on Ascertaining the Facts about the Status of New-Borns Suspected to Have Gone Missing from Maternity Wards in the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the Government.

The sitting was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Justice - assistant to the Minister Jovan Cosic and independent advisor Vladimir Vins.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Jovan Palalic, Biljana Pantic Pilja, Slavisa Bulatovic, Miletic Mihajlovic, Tatjana Macura, Djordje Komlenski, Zarko Micin, Dr Balint Pasztor, Marko Parezanovic, and MP Elvira Kovacs.
