79th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 28 January, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues deliberated on the amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Defence and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Serbian Armed Forces.

Out of the 27 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Defence, the Committee members found three not to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia, while the rest were found to comply with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee members also found four of the 43 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on the Serbian Armed Forces not compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia, while 39 were found to comply with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.
