78th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 8 February, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered the bills on the agenda of the 22nd Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, 11th Legislature, in detail.

A total of 25 amendments were submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Election of Members of Parliament, submitted by MP Dr Aleksandar Martinovic. The representative of the submitter and the Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept three of the amendments and not accept the rest.

The MPs had submitted six amendments to the Bill amending the Law on Election of Members of Parliament, submitted by MP Gordana Comic. The submitter and the Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept the amendment submitted by MP Marija Obradovic to Article 1, and not accept the rest.

The MPs had submitted 17 amendments to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Local Elections, submitted by MP Dr Aleksandar Martinovic. The representative of the submitter and the Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept two of the amendments and not accept the rest.

A total of six amendments were submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Local Elections, submitted by MP Gordana Comic. The submitter and the Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept the amendment submitted by MP Marija Obradovic to Article 1, and not accept the rest.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Aleksandra Majkic, Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic, Jovan Palalic, Zarko Micin, Dr Balint Pasztor, Dragan Veljkovic and Marko Parezanovic.

The sitting was also attended by MP Gordana Comic, submitter of two bills.
