77th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 4 February, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered and unanimously accepted the Bill amending the Law on Election of Members of Parliament and the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Local Elections, in principle.


The Committee went on to accept four decision proposals on the election of judges to judicial office for the first time and two decision proposals on the election of deputy public prosecutors.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Nedjo Jovanovic, Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic, Djordje Komlenski, Miletic Mihajlovic, Dr Balint Pasztor, Aleksandra Majkic, Srbislav Filipovic, Marko Parezanovic and Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.
