76th sitting of the Administrative Committee

At its sitting held on 14 July, the Administrative Committee discussed the request made by the Smederevo District Public Prosecutor’s Office to authorise the remand in custody of Marina Jovanovic-Bajovic, judge of the Smederevska Palanka Municipal Court, as she was under suspicion of having committed criminal offences.



At its sitting held on 14 July, the Administrative Committee discussed the request made by the Smederevo District Public Prosecutor’s Office to authorise the remand in custody of Marina Jovanovic-Bajovic, judge of the Smederevska Palanka Municipal Court, as she was under suspicion of having committed criminal offences. The Committee resolved to propose that the National Assembly should consider the proposal to remand Ms Jovanovic-Bajovic in custody under urgent procedure, at the current sitting.

After additional consultations were carried out, the Committee discussed and drafted the Proposal of the Decision on the Organisation and Activities of the National Assembly Support Service. Several requests for establishing entitlement to salary after termination of office, submitted by persons elected, nominated, and appointed by the former Parliament of Serbia and Montenegro, were discussed and adopted, as was the Staffing Plan Document for the Republic Committee Charged with Resolving Conflicts of Interest.

The Administrative Committee endorsed the Proposal Establishing the Base Rate for Calculating and Paying Salaries to Employees of the National Assembly Support Service.

The Committee’s sitting was chaired by its vice-chairman, Petar Cvetkovic.
