73rd Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 11 December, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Prevention of Corruption in detail.


The Government and the Committee accepted none of the 23 amendments submitted to the Bill. The Committee went on to submit an amendment of its own.

The Committee also considered the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Anti-Corruption Agency, submitted by the Government, in detail. The Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept none of the 21 amendments submitted to the Bill. The Committee also submitted an amendment of its own to the Bill.

The Committee went on to consider the Bill amending the Law on Misdemeanours, submitted by the Government, in principle, and proposed that the National Assembly accept it.

The Committee also formulated the Proposal of the Decision on the appointment of Supervisory Board. Svetislav Goncic, Branislav Klanscek, Dr Nikola Zutic, Dragan Varagic, Ivana Radovanovic, Prof. Dr Branko M. Rakic, Prof. Dr Miodrag Savovic, Ivona Pantelic, Jelena Milenkovic Orlic and Aleksandar Stamatovic were appointed Supervisory Board members.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members Aleksandra Majkic, Slavisa Bulatovic, Doc. Dr Mihailo Jokic, Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Jovan Palalic, Miletic Mihajlovic, Djordje Komlenski, Dr Balint Pasztor and Marko Parezanovic.
