73rd Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 29 January, the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues reviewed the Anti-Corruption Agency’s request for consent to employ new staff, for the temporary employment of staff due to increased workload.


By a majority vote, the Committee gave consent to the Anti-Corruption Agency to employ 44 field observers and six coordinators, for a two-month period, to monitor the election campaigns for councillors of the Assembly of the City of Belgrade and the Assembly of the Municipality of Negotin, as well as 110 field observers and coordinators to control the election campaign expenses. In reply to the request of the Anti-Corruption Agency, the Committee also consented to the temporary employment of 12 persons and the full-time employment of one person.

The Committee went on to discuss the request of the Commissioner for Protection of Equality for consent to employ new personnel at the Support Service of the Commissioner for Protection of Equality and consented to the employment 20 persons under temporary service contract, six persons under full-time contract and three persons due to the termination of employment of three employees at the Commissioner’s Support Service.

The Committee members discussed and gave a positive opinion to the request made by MP Petar Petrovic as regards assuming another public office.

The sitting was chaired by Zoran Babic, Committee Chairman.
