6th session of the Poverty Reduction Committee
At its sixth session, held on 23 June 2004, the Poverty Reduction Committee did not endorse the Poverty Reduction Strategy adopted by the Government of the Republic of Serbia in October 2003.At today’s session, the Committee discussed and adopted the Proposal of the Plan of Activities of the Poverty Reduction Committee.

At today’s session, the Committee discussed and adopted the Proposal of the Plan of Activities of the Poverty Reduction Committee.
Committee members agreed on implementing activities foreseen by the Proposals of new legislation aimed at reducing child poverty in Serbia project, accepted by the Committee Development Fund Commission. Activities are to begin on 15 July 2004.
The Committee’s session was chaired by the Committee’s chairperson, Snezana Stojanovic-Plavsic.
