At the Committee’s session held on 30 September, members of the European Integrations Committee adopted the Proposal of the Resolution on Joining the European Union, and reccommended the deputies to adopt the Proposal of the Resolution at the autumn regular sitting of the National Assembly.

The Resolution’s submitters, members of the Committee, are to hold a news conference on 5 October to present the Proposal to the public.

The Proposal of the Resolution is the result of several months’ effort on the part of a Working Group composed of members of the European Integrations Committee, representatives of the European Movement non-governmental organisation, and the Office of European Integration of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
