68th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 30 October, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government considered and accepted, in principle, the Bill on ascertaining the facts about the status of new-born babies suspected to have been stolen from maternity wards in the Republic of Serbia, submitted by the Government.


The Bill was presented by Assistant Minister of Justice Cedomir Backovic.

The Committee members also formulated the Proposal of the Decision on the termination of office of presidents of courts of general and special jurisdiction in the Republic of Serbia and forwarded it to the National Assembly for consideration and ruling.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Aleksandra Majkic, Slavisa Bulatovic, Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Miletic Mihajlovic, Jovan Palalic, Djordje Komlenski, Zarko Micin, Dr Balint Pasztor and Marko Parezanovic.
