At a brief sitting held on 13 April the Administrative Committee unanimously ruled to propose that the National Assembly adopt decisions authorising the remand in custody of the Presiding Judge of the Belgrade Commercial Court, Goran Kljajevic, and the presiding judge of the bankruptcy panel of the Belgrade Commercial Court, Delinka Djurdjevic.

The Committee discussed the request of the Special Prosecutor of the Belgrade District Court to authorise the remand in custody of Mr Kljajevic and Ms Djurdjevic as there exists reasonable doubt of their having committed criminal offences of accepting bribes and abusing authority. It was resolved to propose that the National Assembly should discuss proposals of decisions authorising the remand in custody under urgent procedure.

The sitting was chaired by the Committee’s vice-chairman, Petar Cvetkovic.
