63rd Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues
At the sitting held on 5 October 2021, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered, in principle, the bills on the agenda of the First Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2021.
The Committee found the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Tax Procedure and Tax Administration, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Fiscalisation, Bill amending and modifying the Law on Provisional Register of Adult Citizens of the Republic of Serbia to whom Financial Assistance is Paid to Mitigate the Consequences of the COVID-19 Pandemic Caused by the SARS-CoV-2 Virus, Bill on Protection from Noise Pollution in the Environment, and the Bill amending the Law on Museum Activity to be compliant with the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee went on to formulate the text of the response regarding the proceedings launched to ascertain the constitutionality and legality of the provision of Article 60 paragraph 1 of the Law on Science and Research and decided to forward it to the Constitutional Court.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Deputy Chairperson Marija Jevdjic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Nevena Veinovic, Zeljko Tomic, Olja Petrovic, Vuk Mircetic, Luka Kebara, Dubravka Kralj, Toma Fila and Djordje Todorovic.
