The Committee ascertained that the resignations fall within the situation set out in article 88, paragraph 1, item 2 of the Law on Election of MPs according to which resignation is listed as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for, thus proposing that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MPs’ terms of office as stipulated by article 88, paragraphs 3 and 4 of the same Law.

The Committee went on to consider and give a positive opinion to the request submitted by Republic Electoral Committee member Vladimir Jestratijevic to assume another public office, that of member of Belgrade City Council .
