56th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 4 December, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues deliberated on the five bills and the Proposal of the Decision on the Rules for the conduction of the public competition for the selection of candidates for Radio Television Serbia Public Media Institution Programme Board members, submitted by a group of 13 MPs, on the agenda for the Ninth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2014.

The Committee members found the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Planning and Construction, Bill on the Confirmation of the Loan Agreement (Urgent Flood Recovery Project) between the Republic of Serbia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Bill on the Confirmation of the Guarantee Agreement (Project - Transition from analogue to digital signal) between the Republic of Serbia and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Bill on the Confirmation of the European Convention for the Protection of the Audiovisual Heritage, Bill on the Confirmation of the Cooperation Agreement between the Republic of Serbia and the Holy See in the field of Higher Education, submitted by the Government, compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee also found the Proposal of the Decision on the Rules for the conduction of the public competition for the selection of candidates for Radio Television Serbia Public Media Institution Programme Board members, submitted by a group of 13 MPs, compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.
