55th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues
At the sitting held on 25 November, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues deliberated on the amendments to the Bill on Protection and Sustainable Use of the Fish Stock, Bill on Financing and Securing Funds for Agricultural Production and the Bill on Employment of Foreigners, submitted by the Government.
The MPs had submitted 63 amendments to the Bill on Protection and Sustainable Use of the Fish Stock, which the Committee found compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The Committee also found the eight amendments submitted to the Bill on Financing and Securing Funds for Agricultural Production compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The MPs had submitted seven amendments to the Bill on Employment of Foreigners. The Committee found that four of the amendments - to articles 2, 16, 18 and the amendment adding article 21a after article 21 did not comply with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia, while the remaining three amendments were found to be compliant with the Constitution and the legal system of the Republic of Serbia.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.
