At its session held on 13 September, the Administrative Committee discussed a request made by the Belgrade Second Municipal Public Prosecutor’s Office to approve institution of criminal proceedings against Mirjana Tesic-Petkovic, judge of the Belgrade Commercial Court, as well as a request made by the Becej Municipal Public Prosecutor’s Office to approve the prosecution of Goran Cimburovic, judge of the Becej Municipal Court. The Committee ruled that legislation did not foresee the inclusion of the Administrative Committee in the proceedings in this phase (institution of criminal proceedings and prosecution). Only in case detention was sought for these judicial officials would the Administrative Committee have to give its approval.
The Administrative Committee also adopted the Decision on Adjusting the Salary of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance.
The Committee’s session was chaired by the chairman, Tomislav Nikolic.
