At its forty-seventh sitting, held on 29 March 2006, the Finance Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia endorsed the proposal made by the Socialist Party of Serbia Deputies’ Group to elect Professor Dr Borko Krstic member of the Council of the National Bank of Serbia.

The sitting also discussed a report on the implementation of the Finance Committee’s decision to conduct a public procurement procedure for external audits of final balances of the budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2002, 2003 and 2004. Committee members voted unanimously to forward the report made by the Committee’s Working Group and the Committee’s decision to the Chairman of the National Assembly.

The sitting was chaired by the vice-chairman of the Finance Committee, Radojko Obradovic.
