46th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the brief sitting held on 5 December, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government deliberated in detail on a number of bills on the agenda of the Fourth Sitting of the Second Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2018.
The Government and the Committee did not accept the two amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Court Fees.


The Government and the Committee accepted six of the 23 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Civil Servants, those submitted to articles 30, 32, 35, 46, 75 and 85 of the Bill. The Committee also submitted an amendment of its own to Article 61 of the Bill.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the nine amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Salaries of Civil Servants and General Service Employees.

The Government and the Committee accepted two of the 62 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Employees in Autonomous Provinces and Local Self-Government Units, viz. the amendments submitted to articles 40 and 54 by MP Nedjo Jovanovic.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the seven amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Salaries of Civil Servants and General Service Employees in the Bodies of Autonomous Provinces and Local Self-Government Units.

The Government and the Committee did not accept the four amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on the Manner of Determining the Maximum Number of Public Sector Employees.

The Government and the Committee did not accept the eight amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Public Service Employees either.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the six amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Salary System in Public Sector.

The Government and the Committee accepted none of the seven amendments submitted to the Bill amending the Law on Salaries of Employees of Public Agencies and Other Organizations founded by the Republic of Serbia, Autonomous Province or Local Self-Government Unit either.

The Government and the Committee accepted four of the 10 amendments submitted to the Bill amending and modifying the Law on Inspections, viz. the amendments submitted to articles 4, 22, 26 and 36 by MP Nedjo Jovanovic.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Petar Petrovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dusan Veljkovic, Nedjo Jovanovic, Biljana Pantic Pilja, Doc. Dr Mihailo Jocic, Zarko Micin, Djordje Komlenski, Marko Parezanovic and Jovan Palalic.
