45th session of the Privatisation Committee
At its session held on 4 July 2005, the Privatisation Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia discussed the Report on the Conduct of the Privatisation Agency in the Privatisation of Valjevo-based retailer Uzor Joint Stock Company.
At its session held on 4 July 2005, the Privatisation Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia discussed the Report on the Conduct of the Privatisation Agency in the Privatisation of Valjevo-based retailer Uzor Joint Stock Company. The Committee advised the Privatisation Agency to immediately terminate the contract with the buyer of Uzor.
The Privatisation Committee jointly discussed Reports of the Privatisation Agency on requests made by managers of Vrbas-based Vojvodinapromet Joint Stock Company and Leskovac-based Toma Kostic – Tomaco Public Enterprise to accelerate the privatisation process for these companies, as well as the Report on the Privatisation of Krusevac-based Metalservis Joint Stock Company.
Having discussed the Report of the Privatisation Agency on the Activities of Engaged Consultancies, the Committee requested that the Agency should submit information on consultancies engaged to appraise the value of capital for companies where the privatisation process was initiated over one year ago. The Privatisation Committee also requested the Agency to provide information on the work of Belgrade-based consultancy Eukons.
