45th Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues

At the sitting held on 23 June 2021, the members of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues considered the Proposal of the Decision on the establishment of a Working Group for the Drafting of the Act to amend the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia.

Chairperson of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues Jelena Zaric Kovacevic moved that the Committee adopt the decision on the establishment of a Working Group for the Drafting of the Act to amend the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia in the following composition:

Chairperson:

-Jelena Zaric Kovacevic, MP and Chairperson of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues;

Members:

-Prof. Dr Vladan Petrov, member, tenured professor of the Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade, judge of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Serbia and member of the Venice Commission for Serbia;
-Branko Marinkovic, National Assembly Deputy secretary General;
-Jovan Cosic, Assistant Minister of Justice;
-Darko Radojicic, Assistant Director of the Republic Secretariat for Legislation;
-Vladimir Vins, Senior Adviser at the Ministry of Justice;
-Prof. Dr Srdjan Djordjevic, tenured professor of the Faculty of Law, University of Kragujevac;
-Dr Milos Stanic, research associate at the Institute of Comparative Law;
-Dr Miroslav Djordjevic, research associate at the Institute of Comparative Law;
-Dragana Boljevic, judge of the Appellate Court in Belgrade, honorary president of the Judges’ Association of Serbia;
-Dr Goran Ilic, Deputy Republic Public Prosecutor, Vice President of the State Prosecutorial Council, Commissioner for the Independence of Prosecutors and member of the Presidency of the Prosecutors’ Association.

Secretary:

-Dr Radoje Cerovic, secretary of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues.

The Committee unanimously adopted the Decision on the establishment of a Working Group for the Drafting of the Act to amend the Constitution of the Republic of Serbia in the abovementioned composition.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Jelena Zaric Kovacevic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Nevena Veinovic, Zeljko Tomic, Olja Petrovic, Vuk Mircetic, Ugljesa Mrdic, Dubravka Kralj, Dr Balint Pasztor, Toma Fila, Djordje Todorovic and Violeta Ocokoljic.
