43rd session of the Justice and Administration Committee
At its forty-third session, held on 18 October, the Justice and Administration Committee discussed and in principle endorsed the Bill on the Liability of Manufacturers for Faulty Merchandise, the Misdemeanours Bill, the Bill Amending the Act on Fines for Business Criminal Offences and Misdemeanours, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Judges Act, and the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Ordering of Courts.
At its forty-third session, held on 18 October, the Justice and Administration Committee discussed and in principle endorsed the Bill on the Liability of Manufacturers for Faulty Merchandise, the Misdemeanours Bill, the Bill Amending the Act on Fines for Business Criminal Offences and Misdemeanours, the Bill Amending and Modifying the Judges Act, and the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Ordering of Courts.
The Bills were presented by the Minister of Justice, Zoran Stojkovic.
Both the Committee and the proposer endorsed twenty-two amendments submitted to the Bill Amending the Act on Fines for Business Criminal Offences and Misdemeanours, and six of the twenty-three amendments submitted to the Misdemeanours Bill, thereby making them integral parts of the Bills. The Committee did not endorse six amendments submitted to the Bill on the Liability of Manufacturers for Faulty Merchandise, while no amendments were submitted to the Bill Amending and Modifying the Judges Act and the Bill Amending and Modifying the Act on the Ordering of Courts.
